Now, thanks to Virgin Galactic, you can go into space for 2.5 hours for only $200,000 dollars. Apparently it's "well worth it". The spaceship is attached to a mothership, that takes off and once it reaches an acceptable altitude the spaceship is dropped and its thrusters are activated and the craft is rocketed from naught to 2,000mph in under 10 seconds.
