This figure in the Carlton Center in Johannesburg was created by Nike out of soccer balls. It's 21 meters tall and incorporates 5,500 balls! Now that the World Cup is over the balls will be donated to local community programs.

This is a pretty good ad, but I miss the voiceover that is always present in iPhone and iPod Touch ads, and it just seems to speedy and dodgy.  The song is There Goes My Love by The Blue Van.

london 2012 concept posters

Amazingly sleek concept posters by Alan Clarke for the 2012 Olympic Games in London. The circular icons on the bottom right of the posters pull form the London Underground logo Although no choice has been made for the actual posters and logos for the Games, these are definitely my favorites.
