nouveau magasin apple en paris
This is why we love Apple. Not only because they deliver powerful, easy to use, and beautiful products. But because they don't stop until they can get as close to perfection as possible. They have an eye for design, a wow factor, something no other company has. They aren't cold or sterile, and the staff are (usually) friendly and helpful. When was the last time you saw a Dell store that looked like this? I think I'm in love! This store just opened in Paris, and I have to say that it is truly worthy of La Ville des Lumières! link

casa kimball
This is a vacation home in the Dominican Republic. It's made with "white coral stone" which sounds incredibly cool, expensive, and exclusive. I also love the paneling on the ceiling in the bathroom, and the pool is really great. It's designed by Rangr Studio.

modern wood house
Designed by Marcio Kogan, this modern wood house is located in Brazil. The thin grained wood is coupled with glass, an ultra-sleek combination. Also, the wood prevents it from feeling too cold and stark, something that is very common is modern homes. My favorite part though, is the staircase, and the long dining area. I would buy this house just for those reasons. Click "Read More" for more pictures.

townhouse
This home in Sweden, Townhouse, was designed by Elding Oscarson. The house has three stories, all with a clean white wash paint finish . Thanks to an array of different sized windows, natural light streams through in every room. Airy, and warm, this space is very eclectic and modern. I don't like the harsh contrast of the modern exterior and hard lines with the other historic homes; and the white is probably impossible to keep clean.

kyneton house
"Marcus O’Reilly Architects has designed a spacious, single-story modern home for an old friend and business partner in Kyneton, Victoria, Australia. The Kyneton House is situated on a leafy, natural lot with plenty of privacy from neighbors– an ideal spot for a home whose focus is evenly split between its interior decor and the natural world around it. O’Reilly and company organized the home in two wings joined by a central spine, one as a private section for its inhabitants and the other a large section for entertaining guests– that opens into a large outdoor patio and into the lot beyond."

green t house

The Green T. House in Beijing is both a spa and restaurant. They also have a wonderfully designed website that you should browse around for a few minutes; it's very energizing. The interior and exterior spaces as well as the spa has won many awards. This would make a very relaxing vacation.

the h house
The H House was designed by Group 41 Architects. The house is located in San Francisco, and it has a skyline view of the city. It's a unique home, it in undoubtedly modern but isn't sterile; it has charm. From the front it looks like a small split-level home, but it is actually a 4,500sq ft four story house with 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. More info
