rado centrix jubilé

I'm not one to like gaudy watches. That's why I have to say this is one of my favorites. Rado is releasing the Centrix in a variety of styles, but my favorite is the jubilé. As the name states, it "expresses the circle in its purest form." This particular model features six diamonds set into the glossy black dial, with sapphire crystal glass. link

carre h

The Carre H is a collaboration with Hermès and architect Marc Berthier. The shape is a classic, the minimality is contemporary, and the detailed center resembles a computer chip. For me at least. This is a superbly beautiful watch. The restraint and detail is evident and the quality of the materials is understated. The case is gunmetal titanium and the glass is (predictably) sapphire. It's powered by a Sowind/Girard-Perregaux movement that has a reserve of 44 hours. The production is limited to 173 pieces. Of course, the limited run and the brad will have you paying twice what you should. link\15,000

chanel j12 rétrograde mystérieuse

Despite their name and their inexperience in the watch-makng business, Chanel has been knocking out some really good looking pieces. The new men's J12 is no exception. It's most interesting feature is the retrograde minute hand: after it strikes 12, the hand moves counterclockwise all the way back to the 12 again. Link

Uniform Wares is releasing a seaires of their watches on limited edition colors. New colors are still being released, but my favorite is the Dark Red. I really like this; I want it!

paiget altiplano

This new watch by Paiget is made of stainless steel and thin as ever. I like the art-deco feel and the embossed leather strap. The back of the case is sapphire glass, and so is the front dial.

Thank you, World Watch Review

marvin m112

If you want excessive diamonds and fancy mechanics, look elsewhere. This new watch from Marvin is the epitome if elegance and simplicity. Sharp lines, a classic dial, and honest features will make this watch stand the test of time. Available in a silver or black dial, and a steel or rose gold case.

defakto single hand watch

Dutch company, Defakto created this beautiful watch that looks a lot like plane dials. Stainless steel case, a luminous dial and hand, sapphire crystal glass, a calfskin band, and it's even waterproof up to 50m. Link: $545

alessi watch

I love the simple look and the clean, no nonsense design of the new Alessi watch. The big dial is nice and clean, and the thick pointy hour hand contrasts nicely with the thin, blunt minute hand. It has a very unique black etching on the bezel (shown above), a matte stainless steel case, and a black leather strap. It is also water-proof up to 100 feet, but that would probably damage the leather. The thin watch face coupled with the buttery leather make this looks like a very comfortable and airy watch. Over all: a great, rather timeless design, and a great price. Link: $128
